What a joy it was to meet Doug Hyde. A bit of a hero of mine as he's so successful with his original ideas, you'd recognize his paintings, I'll find one to post here but oh what a charmingly shy man! All of his charcoal paintings are based on his family and pets, he's a clever guy! Funny tho when I posted the picture of us meeting on my other pages, I got so many messages back saying "what a dish" he was - ha ha never even occurred to me!
